About the flip clock
Oversized digits on split flip cards, animating with the hinge fold of a real mechanical clock. It is legible from across a room, which makes it useful as a desk clock on a spare monitor or a phone propped up on a nightstand.
How to use it
- Go fullscreen and prop the device where you can see it.
- Turn on Keep awake so the display does not sleep overnight.
- Press Escape to exit.
Questions
Will the screen go to sleep?
Not if you turn on Keep awake. It holds a wake lock so the display stays on with no input.
Is there a 24-hour option?
It follows your device locale. Set your system clock to 24-hour and the page follows.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded it keeps running without a connection.
Does this cost anything or need an account?
No. Every tool on the site is free, needs no sign-up, and works immediately in the browser with nothing to install.
Will my screen stay awake while it runs?
